arts & artists - REGIONAL FOLK ARTS SUPPORT CENTERS

In partnership with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts
The statewide Folk Arts Infrastructure initiative grew out of a partnership between ICP and PCA to strengthen awareness and understanding, as well as participation in, traditional arts across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

As part of this effort, and with the generous of the National Endowment for the Arts, ICP has created a network of Regional Folk Arts Support Centers to engage in field work, provide technical assistance, and develop programming and grant opportunities for traditional artists and organizations. This network now serves 42 (of a total 67) counties throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Personnel at one of the following organizations will be glad to provide you with additional information on PCA programs, application forms, help in developing your project, or referrals to other resources:

South Central PA

Southeastern PA

Southwestern PA
